Welcome to Gift Card Express! This guide will help you create and send gift cards in bulk for your Shopify store.

Creating Gift Cards Manually

1. After installing the app, you'll see the main gift card creation interface.
2. Click "Add Gift Card" to begin entering recipient information. For each gift card, you can specify:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email
• Gift Card Amount
• Custom Message
• Expiry Date

1. Need to pause your work? Click "Save Draft" to save your progress. Your entries will be preserved even if you leave the app and return later.
2. To start fresh, use "Clear All" to remove all entries from your draft.

Importing Gift Cards in Bulk

For larger quantities of gift cards, you can use our CSV import feature:

1. Create a CSV file with the following columns:

• firstname
• lastname
• email
• amount
• message
• expireson

1. Click "Import CSV" and upload your file.
2. Review your data and click "Save Draft" if you need to make adjustments.
3. When ready, click "Create Gift Cards" to generate all gift cards.

What Happens Next?

After creating gift cards:

• Each recipient gets their gift card automatically delivered by email
• Customer accounts are automatically created for recipients
• You can view all generated gift cards in your Shopify Admin under Products > Gift cards
• Recipients appear in your Customers list

Tips for Success

• Always review your entries before final creation
• Use "Save Draft" frequently when working with large batches
• Check your Shopify Admin to confirm gift cards were created successfully
• Keep track of your import history using the "History" tab
